Traditionally spanning the end of September to early October, the Art Forum Berlin features contemporary art from 120-plus galleries and more than 25 different countries. This world-class International Fair for Contemporary Art has attracted hundreds of thousands of artists, art lovers, collectors, museum curators, and tradesmen from around the world since its inception more than a decade ago.

For one weekend each year, art works in all media--painting, installation, sculpture, video, photography, multimedia, and much more -- created by well-known and emerging artists, are put on display in Berlin's historic and spacious exhibition hall for all to experience and enjoy. Twice daily, art forum discussions are held with distinguished guest speakers, while the Art Forum's joint projects with Berlin's opera house and several experimental art and theatre groups offer visitors a wide spectrum of visual art to partake in. Berlin has quietly become the contemporary art capital of Europe, but during the city's prestigious Art Forum, it transforms into a loud, proud, and multifaceted art mecca.
