The ideal destination for families and cinephiles alike, the legendary Studio Babelsberg is the oldest film studio in the world. First opened in 1911, it is home to more than 3000 films, from Marlene Dietrich's 1930 "Der blaue Engel" (Blue Angel) to the 2005 film "V for Vendetta," as well as numerous television productions.

Take the kids to Filmpark Babelsberg, the studio's on-site theme park: It features exciting live-action stunt shows, amusement-park-style rides, and studio tours. Located in the city of Potsdam, it is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
