The show starts at the door: After you ring the bell, a peephole opens, revealing a sparkly made-up face. The woman who then opens the door and admits you is tastefully dressed and leads you into a comfortable 1920s-style room. She takes your order, serves your drinks, and then the lights dim. You may recognize your hostess and server onstage, although during the show she is dressed differently -- or not at all. As the night goes on, the acts become naughtier, and volunteers from the audience may find themselves tied to a chair and teased by fetchingly undressed performers. In other words, the Kleine Nachtrevue provides delightful Berlin decadence!
