Friedrichstadtplast, where Marlene Dietrich made her debut in the 1920s, is a Berlin institution. This world famous venue, now expanded and spectacularly updated with the latest high-tech theater equipment, puts on glitzy shows for as many as 2,000 guests a night. Eighty-plus leggy dancers, jugglers, acrobats, magicians, singers, and musicians perform in spectacular costumes and sets with stunning stage effects.

Shows begin at 8 p.m. most nights, with some matinees earlier in the day. And although the venue is large, shows often sell out, so reservations are advisable.
